New Tools You Would Like to See on STM?

The tools section on STM hasn't got some love in some time now so looking to change that!

The goal is not to create crazy complicated tools like mobile carrier spy tools but more tools that will make your daily workflow faster.
Tools that will save you a few minutes each day.

I was thinking of calculators ( ROI / CPM / Statistical Significance etc).

So if there is any tool that would make your life easier or make your more productive when launching campaigns feel free to post them here.

Let the suggestions begin!

Also,

  • search database of tokens for traffic sources
  • image compression tools
  • metasearch across multiple affiliate networks for offers
  • Excel templates for tracking P&L
  • Templates for legal agreements for insertion orders, to hire contractors
  • Templates for creative brief or outsourcer brief
I really like this one

Possible with API integration with Cake/HasOffers I believe! Basically like building your own oDigger or similar.

We may be able to whip together something.

Yes! At outsourcing instructional templates and contracts.

Affiliates are all over the place. Different time zones.
Many networks have shitty backends so even if you set timezone for reporting, it will split it out on their timezone.

This creates a major headache.
This creates confusion
This creates unneeded stress

If you could make a tool, that would allow affs to import reports based on CSV, set what timezone the network report is in, then it would auto parse everything into a readable format on their preferred timezone output
that'd give em clear insights into their campaigns and whats profiting and not.

CSV inputs can be done by on import selecting the format of the csv, column1=x,column2=y, etc etc

Anything that can reduce the number of tabs I have open at a given time!

An emulator to see how lander looks on different devices or mobiles would be great as well.

Text recognition on banners in the already available tool.
So it get's all text that it can possible read and export it to a file.
Much easier to spot interesting angles etc. without having to look at a dozen images.

- Lander speed ping test
- Some tool that suggests domain names that are available
- IP blacklist checker
- Some tools that checks for the "spamminess" of emails for deliverability purposes ...

All of these exist somewhere online, but it would be great to have them in one place

how about a bid optimizer? suppose for a placement or group of placements we are winning at 90% (which is too high), given a assumed skewed bid distribution (alot of people bidding very low), the bid optimizer suggests a lower bid to try to hit 70%. the traffic ends up a little lower but because cost goes down by up to 50% ,the profit increases.

As stated above

-Calculators

-Tools to import reports

-Offer search

Think these should be the priority

A split test calculator that can come up with more than 1 winner. For example, if you are trying to decide the top 4 banners out of 10.

Even if bbrock32 can develop half of these ideas into tools, I will be a happy camper.
