Efficiency - strategy for eliminating banners/angles

Hey guys, I'm working on a UC browser campaign and came up with 23 angels that are being translated as we speak. I spend at least 8 hours on researching the country, stats and I kind of like them all. I tried to keep them as different as possible and would like to test most of them out, but not sure what would be the best strategy. My idea was to create 5 very different banners and just plug in the angels. I would need to create 5X4 campaigns (wifisite, wifiapp, mobilesite, mobileapp) for each of the 23 angels.

1. Do you think its a good idea to test that many angles or should I just filter out the ones i like the most?
2. Is 2 days worth of data enough for each campaign?
3. Does CTR matter in this case or should i focus on CVR only.
4. How do I pick out the winners or rather quickly cut the losers?

Would love to hear different opinions.

Thank you!

1. Start with 5 or so and just pick whatever ones you like, or maybe 3 you think will do the best and 2 you think will suck. Kill angles and rotate in new ones as you go.

2. Really depends on how much data you get, but I'd say so. Just assume the offer CVR only varies by say 25% day to day.

3. Well, CTR and CVR combine to give EPC, which is what is more important... For angles though I would focus on CVR as that better reflects intent/desire to use your product/offer to solve their problems. CTR is easier to work on when you are using banners.

4. The wining angles? Just compare campaign to campaign or placements to placements and make decisions when there are statistically significant differences between the two.
