Airpush, Prepared $5000 for test

I have started campaigns on Airpush. And i found some interesting ad formats.

1.Icon Ads

Size:	14.4 KB

Icon Ads are sponsored shortcuts (Icons) placed on the homescreen of an Android device, similar to the pre-installed apps on new smartphones.

I think it’s a really rogue format. But have to say it makes me very excited. I have never tried Airpush before, and don’t know how it is exactly. But I've got great expectations for it.

2.Dialog Ads

Dialog Ads are displayed to users as a dialog box inside an app, delivering a strong call-to action to engage with the advertiser.

This is extremely good for improving CR , even though I have never tried as well, but i think it is profitable.

I run the campaign on FB all the time, and never tried Airpush. I have prepared budget $1-5k for it, would appreciate some advice on my way to Airpush, i will share u all the info as well.

I think Airpush was a lot more popular in the past, but new regulations - urr from Google? I can't recall the specifics, but push notifications were heavily damaged as a viable source of traffic -- to the point that it was very possible that Airpush could disappear.

Thanks for ur reply, so it's not a wise choice for us to choose Airpush or the format i mentioned?

we had used Push & dialog previously which yield good result for pin submit & apps install. but didn't use it for sometime due to lack of traffic.
please let us know if it isn't the case. thanks

push ads are basically banned by google for apps that are available on google play.

But try push and you will see what happens. Could work out very well for you. Especially since you got the budget for it.

Be careful with icon installs... they are hard to control and prone to over spending.

To be honest with you, Airpush is past their prime and from what I heard its a sinking ship over there with the founder already working on the "next big thing".

However, there's still a LOT of traffic (very affordable in some geo's) and if you have the patience to work with them you can still run some great campaigns.

Do optimize your campaigns, simply use the tokens they provide and use their Optimizer to block...similar to Decisive but notoriously slow with a lot of inaccurate stats.

beware that icon ads charge you per impression not per click.

Quick Question on Airpush... I see people are talking about push notifications and how google banned them and the posts are kind of implying Airpush is dying because of that... but if I understand it right, Airpush has much more than just the "push" ad type... right? So, the comments about push, I would think would just be about their push ad type... not the other 8 or so ad types?

Airpush has definitely pivoted away from push notifications

Try Abstract Banners from Airpush. Its their 'new thing' mentioned above and the numbers I have seen have been good.
