Traffic sources for kids desktop games?

I've been trying to promote a kids game, it's a Harry Potter inspired (spells, school, etc) card battling type RPG for desktop. Can't play online, it requires a binary.

Here's the follow along thread: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...y-Accio-profit!

Does anyone know of a good traffic source I could try? Bonadza hasn't been working well, most of their gaming related placements are for online flash / FB type portals and I can't target by ages or interest very well. Ad4Game has some problems with affiliates now as I describe.

Any other suggestions that don't require like a $1k minimum spend? I'm considering capturing some video of the game since it looks better in motion than screenshots, and trying some YouTube advertising. But other than that I haven't been able to find anything good.

Really appreciate any suggestions!

I would try to find ad networks that offer placements on arcade/flash sites as well as interstitials in games.

E.g. http://www.1upads.com/

Ever looked into popup traffic on ZeroPark I've been converting like CRAZY for download offers.

Also pops tend to work pretty well.

Give a go to wiget & adcash.

Awesome...I will check out the popup based sources. Thanks for the all the suggestions. There are *so* many ad networks and options out there, it's hard to get a handle on them.

Appreciate it!

What about the Google Content Network? If I remember correctly, there is a category related to games for kids even.
