has anyone worked with this site before??? >>> http://www.mpirenetwork.com/
whats the feedback like?
They contacted me out of the blue a month or two ago. Unclear how they got my contact info -- I was told that they received a recommendation. They were familiar with the verticals I focus on.
Good selection of offers. Haven't worked with them yet.
They are owned by Mpire Media (http://www.mpiremedia.com.au/), which is a publicly traded Australian company.
They contacted me as well thru skype. they got my contact thru STM forum.
Most of their offers are co-broke from Yeahmobi and etc.
But I am currently running some direct offers from them. So far so good with their direct offers.
I tested their app install offers, conversions were decent, but I have been doing better with other networks. I dont like their interface tho, looks like they are in the middle of building it. Another negative - looks like they only offer wire payments, so I got $350 stuck there after running a short test
Well, today was supposed to be my first payment ($1200) date weekly- net 7, which is really net 8 since their weeks end on Sundays. First payment and they're late. Not sure what to think yet, snafu's happen, but certainly not an impressive start for a network as far as I'm concerned. The excuse that I received was that the payment needs to be approved by their finance person and their CEO, who happens to be in Vegas tonight. I stopped running traffic to them a week ago concerned about something stupid like this. thank god.
As a follow up, I ended up getting paid the proper amount, although it was late. Overall not impressed, sticking with my current networks.
Speaking of Mpire network, they have been aggressively recruiting affiliates recently.
I was approached by one of their AM last week via skype. Not sure how they got my skype though. A couple of days later, my partner received the same invite, from a different AM but still from the same network.
They're super enthusiastic and eager to get me started to run traffic to them. The AM actually sent me their top offers in excel sheet even before I officially on board. Fast forward a couple of days later, we had a skype call and there were 2 AMs on their side, talking and getting to know me.
Instant approval into the network, needless to say. They only asked for my name, email, address, and username over skype chat and the account is ready.
I asked about payment terms. One of them didn't give me a straight answer while the other one was saying they're flexible, and able to do weeklies/biweeklies/monthlies. However, they weren't exactly firmed up on the figures.
IMHO their approach is kinda overly aggressive to the extend that I felt something MAY not seem right. Not keen on harming their business as this is a mere gut feeling of my own, but lets just say that I have my own reservations.
Any other affiliates that being approached by them?
I ran some traffic through them earlier this year. Their payment terms aren't as good as my other networks and I frankly found the AM that I worked with to be very unprofessional. My first payment from them was late, because people were traveling. there was no good excuse. Based on my experience I'll never run through them again.
Hey - Jeff here, CEO of Mpire Network; maybe I can help clear this up. @letsgosingapore Yes, our reps are very aggressive about bringing on new pubs - that is part of growing a successful network; but not something you need to worry about- especially when it comes to payment. We are equally aggressive about paying on time and providing great client service. We are a little younger than some of the other networks out there but have still managed to grow as fast by being aggressive, trying harder and generally keeping our publishers extremely happy. Would be glad to provide references from other STM members if that helps.
@talking50 I'm not sure how your payment was delayed while I was at ASW in Vegas (since no-one other publisher's payments were) - but if you'd like to PM me I'm sure I can find a way to make it right. From there ,we can always assign you a different and or more senior rep if you'd like.
