eCommerce JV? Anyone have skills in Amazon Affiliate? (4)
I am literally laughing as I type this up.....
Sometimes, we make bad decisions and this is one of mine. A buddy of mine talked me into buying this site off Flippa (https://flippa.com/2976268-ecommerce...aking-2-916-mo) about a year ago and told me he could get it from $3,000/mo revenue to $10,000/revenue in a few months. I bit. Unfortunately, what followed was numerous expenses, loss of traffic and revenue and my interest.
Fast forward to today. I have the remnants of a 100% drop-ship site that used to have good traffic/revenue and now has none.
As if I don't have enough going on, I am thinking about taking the site and getting some article writers to generate daily content for a few keywords and perhaps setup as an Amazon affiliate store. However, I have never done anything like this before and it is outside of my scope of expertise (If I can even call myself that!)
If you have an idea or interest in doing something together, let me know. I figured I would start here on STM before I post a project on eLance/oDesk/Freelancer.
Oh dear, I hope you didn't put too much money into the flippa adventure.
I have rarely heard of any real and major success story coming from a site bought off of flippa.

Most of the times they post fake stats on flippa. A lot of sellers claim they have money making amazon sites but once you buy the site they will stop the traffic basically.
