When I was younger I did a stupid thing, I thought I could fool Google AdSense and got banned (for life). I had created a basic website without any significant traffic and asked people I knew to click on the ads (REALLY F#CKING STUPID) and thereby faking clicks. So I got a warning mail from Google, and then another one and then I got banned. For me it was not such a big deal at the time but later on when I really wanted to get serious with making money online I realized how stupid I had been.
Since I have been banned by Google and cannot use Adsense my SEO-plans are pretty much screwed.. As you can guess I want to make money online by affiliate marketing instead, but is it possible to succeed without Googles ad-systems? (Adsense for desktop and mobile) My planned traffic source is mobile but maybe that is not such a bright idea when you are banned by the big G?
I'm banned from adsense (income source) but I still use Adwords (traffic source)
so the answer to your question is yes
Same here, banned from Adsense but still have active Adwords accounts
You really have nothing to worry about. You can do fine without Adsense.
In fact, I am pretty sure that for 99 percent of the people on this forum, Adsense is NOT their primary source of Internet marketing income.
Just got banned-for-life... from AdWords... for the 4th time.
It's not over.
@dario: yes, you are right, turned out I also can use AdWords
@cmdeal: Glad to hear! I was worried that people used AdWords as one of their primary sources
@mark_from_michigan: How did you get banned for life 4 times? Fake identity?
Thanks for the answers! You were right, I was not banned from AdWords but from AdMob and AdSense "only"
I've heard rumors about people who got banned from AdSense and could reopen a account but as a different "entity" like a company etc. But maybe it is just urban legend :P
I was in your situation 7-8 years ago. Got my adsense account banned, frustrated thinking with it went my dream of making money on the internet.
Now, 8 years later, GOOGLE WHAT???
Trust me, there are so many ways to make money online it is nearly impossible to get banned on all even if you try really hard.
So just pick a traffic source and focus on it until you make that work!
I'd say only 10% of STM members advertise with Google. That should answer your question
I got a site banned from Adsense... Google search results, better than ever, so I wouldn't worry to much even if it sucks to lose the Adsense income.
