I just ran a shit tonne of a particular traffic source through an offer.
Other traffic sources were legit, and provided reasonable success, but this 3rd one was just garbage.
Nonetheless, I use volume as my tracking provider, but thought, maybe there is a way to track bot-traffic as well.
Some resources I found:
http://botscout.com/ -> a bot database
https://www.dynamicyield.com/2014/07/ga-filters/# -> tracking bot traffic with google analytics, at end of article
cloudflare.com -> shows you bot/spider data upon connecting your nameserver, but not useful for affiliate data
My guess is simply sending your traffic source to a volume landing page that has a bot-detection script before being instantly redirected to the offer.
Has anyone found an effective means of tracking bot traffic with affiliate marketing?
