Click loss from tracker to Affiliate network
Hello STMers!
I am getting about 35% click loss from Tracker (Voluum) to affiliate network considering data of whole month. It is similar is both Mobile & Desktop. This is with one of the recommended affiliate network here and it is using cake.
Is it normal? or I am having some problem with redirect? or simply affiliate network is showing lower clicks to inflate EPC?

click loss is normal. but 35% is far too much. id say average is... 10%? anything over 20% and you should be worrying.
had the same issue last week. I split test between Voluum and CPV to the offer to rule out tracker, then same offer to different aff networks. solved the issue by requesting a domain change for the offer from my aff manager

Ask your AM for a report/feedback on how many clicks were bounced or were out-of-geo.
If it's not much, it's likely the aff networks system that's letting you down.
What geo are you advertising in?

Its banner traffic for DE & I am hosting all Lps on MaxCDN. I found about 25% click loss in another network (using cake).
What are the things I can do to reduce click loss on my end?

What tracker are you using?
Germany has very good internet connectivity. With landers hosted on a CDN, you have probably done as much as you can to stop tracker to lander loss. Losses after that - from LP to network, are a bit outside of your control.
However if you get 35% loss between clickthroughs and the network, something is definitely up.

Affiliate networks or Cake does not show duplicate clicks. However if you go to click report it should show all the clicks including duplicates. Hope this helps
