Just out of curiosity, how long does it take on POF for banner blindness to kick in and the ad CTR's to start going down? I'm getting good Ad CTR's, good Landing Page CTR's, but can't get a conversion, and it's making me wonder how long till the Ad CTR's will start to drop.
It depends on demo size.
As a rule of thumb - for banners around the web - after a frequency of 3, things may start going downhill.
Banner blindness on POF generally happens in two stages.
The initial drop from "super-fresh banner" to "banner that has been seen a few times" happens very quickly. Expect the CTR from the first day or so to drop down after that.
The second drop depends on frequency and targeting. Are you targeting a login count, and what frequencies do you have set?
I'm targeting a Login count of <50 and a frequency cap of 3 per visit. Would that correlate to a slow second drop?
