Outsourcing Direct Buys

In order to save time. I am currently looking for freelancers that could help me arrange direct media buys. My plan is to pick the websites myself and then have the freelancer call/email website owners and arrange the deal. I will prepare the call/email script, CPM goals that should be reached, Frequancy Cap info, etc. the freelancer will only have to handle the communication part.

Have any of you guys managed to successfully outsource a similar task? What would be a good place to look for a North American freelancer? I've tried odesk and one similar freelancer portal with no luck.

Can you hire people nearby? For moderately complex tasks like this, I tend to prefer to work with people actually physically in the same office as me. That makes the feedback loop much shorter, means they're much more accountable, and generally makes the entire process simpler.

Having people nearby would sure help but unfortunately that is not an option for me.

sup madskillz, we do what you ask for other media buyers already at my outsourcing company.. have flat rate per month that gets you an assistant to do what you need
