Google adwords and Mobile?

Sorry for double posting guys. I felt like this topic was very different so I would make a seperate post.


Anyway, I found a lot of apps that are similar to the app I am having success with and all of their ads come from Admob.

From the looks of it I can target them via Google Adwords. My questions are?

1. Can I cloak my LP by just giving my Voluum direct link to adwords and then switch it out once ads have been approved?

2. Is there anyway to connect Voluum tracking with google adwords?

1. If you cloak, they will find you and ban you - I'd be cautious there.
2. If you run CPA model on adwords, unfortunately no

Admob inventory can be accessed by other platforms e.g. many RTB sources.

I would avoid Adwords and just get access to the inventory via those.

In any case, just because most of their volume comes from Admob doesn't mean it will be the most profitable exchange to hit.

Sorry for re-opening this but i thought that would be better than create a new post.

Is correct that AdMob is for devs only now? - so if you have to access it through Adwords instead? I imagine if you access the inventory through RTB you will pay a higher price right?

The price through a DSP outside of Google/Admob directly will undoubtedly cost a bit more but it won't be the difference between a winner or loser.

Not sure about Admob's policies with who they work with, as I don't work with them.
