How To Lose $35,647.12 Overnight

Hi Stackers

I did $35,647.12 Revenue over the last month or so, about half of it profit. That's a success story in itself, but then the wrathful ban hammer of FB fell upon me, despite me cautioning other noobies about the danger of promoting CB on FB.

You can see my original thread here:

This image details the fall from grace succinctly:

This was my first "decent" campaign and I was hoping to leverage it into even greater success. Facebook had other plans. Fuck 'em.

I'm starting a new follow along, as I find it useful to catalogue my thoughts and keep myself accountable, plus connecting with other members and drawing on collective wisdom is also helpful. Hopefully, others can find this useful as well.

My first steps are to cast a spell of invisibility over this campaign and get back on the horse.

I've bought a new laptop (a cheap macbook air, that I can likely sell for profit or at least break even when it has served its purpose). I have a new ip. I have a new domain. I have a new account. I have created a new ad. I have a new cc. My lander is slightly different. I am running some page likes atm. I will be engaging in dark magic.

The plan here is to ride this bitch till the wheels fall off. I'll get banned again, I expected it the first time and I expect it again, but if I can profit another $10,000 before that happens I will count it as a win. If I get instabanned that is not going to stop me.

I want to take this money and learn a new traffic source.

Part 2

I have around $500 in 50onred. $500 in Sitescout. $56 in Pof lol. And $100 in Decisive. Hell, I may even have some $$ in traffic junky. Let me have a look. $3.82. Ballin.

All I have running at the moment is POF. I am using the demographic data from FB. Personally, I do not like pof. There is not a lot of volume and the quality is trash IMHO.

I also have some campaigns running in Sitescout, but I am finding it hard to get any traffic at all. Not sure what is up. Something I need to address.

What was the reason for the ban?

My feeling is the ad was getting a lot of complaints as most people are crybabies and it was about something touchy. Facebook said it didn't allow the offer.

You didn't get banned for a misleading title did you?

Dude hit me up, I know a way you can get around these bans!

To be honest I could theorise all day about why they banned me, but it's not really helpful. Onto better things.

Well, I've got the harry potter magic working, and my ad was approved. Going to start off spending conservatively and then ramp it up over the next few days. My body is ready for a ban.

I am working with site scout to get my campaigns generating traffic.

I also set up a gift card offer and a CB offer on 50onred to test.

Pof is running.

Was banned from FB again.

POF

Spend $16.47 Revenue $143.16 Profit $126.69 ROI 769.22%

I don't get PPV, and I am still not getting any traffic on Site scout. There customer service is retarded, as in very slow. They are helpful when they get to you.

Great results with POF

I will bitterly admit that POF can be profitable. That was an abnormal day though. The next two days were around 120% ROI, which is obviously still great, just not as crazy.

I've been working on some jv with some people from STM. What an awesome way to connect. I also launched some new campaigns:

Spend $94.99 Revenue $36.73 ROI -61.33% Profit -$58.26

Only 1 conversion.

554
Website Clicks
$0.17
Per Website Click
CTR 7.807%

Obviously a little bit of potential, but my EPC was very low. Decided to try a different offer and slightly different angle. We'll see how it goes.

I am also testing another offer in a different niche. Whichever one of these three offers seems to have the most potential I will try and optimize.
