@gizvator - good spot! That's deliberate - vBulletin doesn't have a symbolic link function, so I duplicate indexes both in the relevant forum and the index forum to make sure people can find them.

Fantastic resources...I'd also recommend Gary Halbert's 1996 Copywriting Seminar In A Box, if you can find it...back in the pre internet days, when you had to lay out a lot of cash for testing direct mail/magazine/newspaper, coming up with the right hook or angle was incredibly important, else the test would break you, and nobody did that better than Gary.

My favorite Halbert angle for the dating market was, "How To Get Laid Over and Over...Even If You Don't Deserve It!" And, of course, his newspaper ad for Tova Borgnine's perfume launch...."Tova Borgnine Swears Under Oath That Her New Perfume Does NOT Contain An Illegal Sexual Stimulant!" That ad, run in the LA Times, got 8000 people to mob the Century Plaza Hotel for the perfume launch, and started a multi million dollar company overnight (which, I believe, was eventually screwed up, but the launch is worth studying).

Good god those are some good angles/headlines. I wonder where the best place to look for that product is?

I could be wrong, but the seminar Gary Halbert did in 1996 is called "How To Write Sales Letter That Will Make You Rich" also known as "Sol Miami Beach Hotel Seminar". "Copywriting Seminar in A Box" is by Dan Kennedy I believe.
Anyway I've got the Halbert's one on my harddrive, can upload it if you want, its about 500mb, not sure what's the best place to upload it tho.

Just had to add a little humor to the angles section...this video is all about why it's so important to "have an angle, Charlie"...some of you guys will recognize it immediately, you younger guys who haven't seen the whole thing, well, don't wait, watch the whole move and get a "cultural education"...you'll see the 1970's turn into the 1980's before your eyes:

John, do you mean Jeff Paul's seminar in a box? Wasn't able to find any course by Halbert with that name, only a Jeff Paul one.
