Starting out my first campaign ever on Exoclick! Some Questions.

Hi,

I'm starting out with my first media buying campaign ever! Looking forward to losing money, but learning the ins and outs of adult media buying! I have already studied the starters guide on this forum (http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...TION-AND-INDEX). But still have some questions left that, maybe you guys can help out ?

I will be starting out on exoclick to test things first. What would you advice on starting out a new campaign with them ?

- Should I buy RON, or rather buy one spot based on my gut feeling what works best (and try to optimize that) ?
- In the tutorial they buy with CPM instead of CPC, isn't CPC a better way to start off with ? Or when do you use CPC ?
- All tips are welcome to start off with an campaign with a daily budget of 50€

The first offer I'm going to try and work out is slutroulette from crakrevenue (anyone tried this one before, a good way to start off with this campaign) ? I'm planning on trying 10 different banners (also different sizes), as stated in the tutorial and optimize from there.

RON to start with, then you can see in their panel the Referrals/Publishers once it starts and if you have tracking setup, you will see from which ones are you getting the conversions, then you can decide to buy only from those.

As you start with a low budget, CPC until you see a decent CTR from your banners, with a good CTR %, CPM will be cheaper. There is way more traffic available on CPM campaigns.

Main one, setup tracking to identify the good publishers, there a lot of bad ones in the mix that will eat your budget.

I've tried launching CPC campaigns on Exo but the traffic was close to zero for me for some reason.
Also, I can't seem to get anything above 20% CTR there. But they've got huge traffic. You should be able to spend a lot more than 50€ daily there.

1 - If you don't have a huge budget RON can burn money quickly. Pick a medium traffic site ( not xhamster ) and start with it.
2 - CPC you will get less traffic and generally lower quality ( this is always if you go with cheap CPCs ). At the end of the day eCPM is what matters.
3 - My personal tip is to use the exo pixel. Will make optimizing way easier.
