CPVLab not redirecting? (10)

CPVLab not redirecting?

I installed Freezefrog in my 2nd PC to check my pops and spy on competition. One problem I noticed is when I clicked the link on my pops and on others, it redirected to base2.php. However it is just a blank page, no redirection to CPA offer. No click is recorded by CPVLab as well.

I don't know if it just my 2nd PC but when I checked it on my main PC, the redirection was just fine..

Anyone got the same problem? This could potentially lose you some clicks/commissions.

Its because you loaded your landing page directly, instead of going through the &key= link. Copy/paste the link that cpvlab gives you and browse it that way and it will work.

I clicked it from the pop up given by Freezefrog (which should be going through the base.php?c &key=). It happened competing sites pop up too. Most probably it's my Internet Explorer on the 2nd PC.

Just tested the whole link (base.php?c &key=) in IE(2nd PC) and it's not redirecting.

Have you already cleared cookies/cache/etc?

I'm having the same issue and I've also seen it happen to other people's landing pages that have popped up as well. Mine doesn't work in firefox (I've cleared cache/cookies and have javascript enabled) but works fine in Internet Explorer...

@socaep: You should try opening a support desk ticket with Robert at CPV Lab and ask him. He usually answers questions within hours. Login to CPV Lab and click the "info" icon.

CPVLab uses same code across all landing pages , meaning it has to rely in cookies to do the redirects.

Every time there is a caching / cookies problem it wont redirect , will just halt on base2.php.

That's how it works , every tracking system has it's pros / cons.

Ya some of the newer browsers have very strict cookie controls as well....best you ck those settings.....as it can effect whether that cookie works right or not....

Well I figured my issue out... stupid, simple little thing. My tracking link was like this http://mydomain.com/base.php?c=46&ke...word=%KEYWORD% but in my landing page some of my links were like this http://www.mydomain.com/go/ck/base2.php. They all have to be either http:// or http://www. not mixed.
