I do lead generation on FB (not affiliate marketing, all to my properties and i sell to end users)
In order to Spend effectively I have multiple accounts. Facebook seems to be addressing this issue allowing the migration of "gray" or "shared login" Accounts, with the introduction of their business accounts.
You can move them into this business account as an agency with clients or as the pages/ad accounts as your assets.
Is this a get out of jail free card if you have multiple pages for the same niche?
Is there an issue with "double serving" a la google ?
May I have 3 pages with their own ad accounts, budgets, and websites all selling widgets ?
Any insight into this issue would be great .. I'm hoping this will make my life less stressful with alleviation of multiple logins etc ..
The Business manager is a nice way to manage things.
I'm not sure what you mean about having multiple pages in the same niche - why would this be a bad thing or frowned upon? There are no issues with double serving in Facebook, they couldn't care less (probably) if you manage the top 10 pages for Chocolate companies in the US and advertise them all.
You can certainly make your own pages > import into business manager > run ads through their own grey account. This is what Facebook expects you to do for separate clients.
What I have done so far is added my main account as an admin to all my grey accounts so that they all appear when I log in to the one account.
The Business Manager accomplishes the same thing but in a much nicer interface.
^^ all true. Separate the clients for sure... Don't manage more than 1 business/niche in the same account. One of my mates was doing well with diet, decided to give t-shirt campaigns a go to be 'safer' and he was banned. I suspect they can see historical ads for your account and if your business has changed, it would seem like your account has been sold or compromised so they shut it down.
You know what they say... don't shirt where you sleep.
redrummr said ^^all true and then said something different unless i misunderstood
to clarify ..
Zeno, You Said "Thats what facebook expects you to do for seperate clients"
I AM the client i do lead gen for Niche A = 3 pages, Nice B= 2 pages etc. Each page goes to a landing page and you know the routine -Fb let me spend 4k per page from 9 am to 8pm est
should i just put them under one business manager ? or create them as businesses under one agency .. ? will the daily ad accounts budgets be affected ?
I failed to mention my verticals are / have been scrutinized in the past.. financial hardship and debt
I'm very cautious as a result..
2nd question .. will this help the issue of "login far from billing activity" warnings/ bans from FB ?
I have lost some accounts to suspicious activity and they ask about location between billing and login location ?
I'm travelling to other country and hoping this will help avoid issues
thanks
Fyi - great stuff on FB .. a lot of great knowledge and time saved by u dumping all that knowledge out of ur head

i'm trying to migrate my Gray account to Personal business manager but i get a blank page when I hit the login button, any ideas?
