Where do you go for your Video needs? (6)

Where do you go for your Video needs?

Lately I'm really getting a lot into VSLs. Im seeing great performance from them. Especially with a professional voiceover in the local language. Check out: http://voicebunny.com/

For the Video I usually first write the script, send it over to create the voiceover and then I would have someone create a kinetic typography style video.

So far I did not find a really good editor for these kind of videos or anything similar. I tried Odesk and Fiverr but quality is pretty bad.

So I wanted to ask you guys where you are ordering your Video Sales Letters and editing? Do you have any advice for me to get better and affordable quality?

Thank you very much

Regards

Have you tried Elance? I generally find they're better for artists in general.

Can't speak to compositing work (like kinetic typography) specifically, as I tend to do that myself.

You could also try posting on www.reddit.com/r/aftereffects or similar communities - lots of very, very talented people on there.

Hey Caurmen,

the reddit tip is amazing!!! I will check it out right now!

FYI, after asking some fellow marketers I also got this company recommended: http://wizmotions.com
They seem to give good quality service.

Simplst way to start is just make PowerPoint slides and then sync them using the voice over and Camtasia or something similar.

The difference between slides and doodle or talking head should be around a 20% lift. But it's much easier to build the slide stuff. So build and optimize using text slides and voice over first.

The real key and hard part about creating good VSL's is copywriting and split testing. Copywriting there's a lot of writers in Warrior but I don't know who's good and who's not. On the split testing side of things we've built some tech that's a video player and Optimizely style content development for VSlL's. If you're interested in testing its its in closed beta and I can get you a test account. Just let me know.

Yeah. Start with power points.

THe best advice is to test the conversion and copywriting. When you have the best version down, go create
the doodle video. Specially cause it costs around $299/minute.

WizMotions is great. They created my own VSL doodle and one of my friends too. Very professional work.
