Best Landing Page Set UP !

I have been setting up landers on Voluum but i feel like something is wrong so i am hoping you guys help me out figure this out
I have a few campaigns running at the moment and i will normally duplicate campaigns to get more Voluum but i use same landing
page for for the campaign

So its something like this:

Trafffic Source One
Campaign 1.... Original...........Offer A .......Lander F1
Campaign 1.....Duplicate 1......Offer A........Lander F1
Campaign 1.....Duplicate 2......Offer A........LanderF1

Traffic source Two

Campaign 1.....Original..........Offer A.......Lander F2
Campaign 1.....Duplicate........Offer A.......Lander F2

My Question:

I do NOT know if Using same landing page will affect my campaigns performance..?, specifically how it impacts on load times and How it reports conversions..?

I have a few domains that i use for CDN on Rackspace so i would normally set up Lander F1 on one domian like www.androidfix.com
which is registered on namecheapand then i i will use same lander for one campaign like offer A above and then use same lander to Duplicate
campaign on same traffic source top get more volume.

The problem is

It seems from my stats that one campaign always performs better than the others like say the original would get 95% conversions or
Duplicate gets 95 % etc but never similar performance even though they both have same set up(same traffic source, same landing page,
similar bids. Its more like today the duplicate takes off and the other completely tanks and then the next day or the reverse.

(1)Do i have to set up i have to set up different domains for the duplicates even though its same campaign..? How do you guys
organise this, my set set up is beginning to look really messy as i set more campaigns...?

Thanks!

if its the same LP, you shouldnt have to duplicate the page on the server.. Just use it as is.... It will have its own stats for each duplicate campaign.

Whats probably happening is that your getting repeat visitors seeing your same ads and LP's for a second or third time...

My guess is doing the multiple campaigns is probably similiar to increasing your frequency cap... You'll get more clicks but your CR will be less/

no you don't. traffic is distributed across the server not the individual sites. check your server stats to see if you're hitting peak load, and if so get another server or upgrade your current one.

What's the traffic source you're using here?

I am running on xxx, xxx, xxx and xxx but xxxx, xxx and xxxx won't even track costs.
I sent an email to the networks and they said they did not have any tokens for passing costs.

How do you guys pass cpc to Voluum for the above networks please ..?

Most people don't pass CPC to Voluum directly, but track their ROI seperately in the proverbial Big Ass Spreadsheet. Sorry!

Furthermore, very few ad networks do or ever will support cost passing.

Firstly, it gives far too much away. Do you really want to tell everyone with any sense of tech know-how that you are paying $0.0057 per click on some source?

No!

Secondly, it can be hard to integrate in.

How does a click cost get determined? If it's a CPC bidding system, your ad network may be able to dynamically insert the winning CPC in to your ad URL prior to serving it to the user in the milliseconds that go by as the auction concludes.

But if it's CPM, you bid per impression - so you can't determine the exact cost per click. The best you could do is insert something like (CPM*(impressions/1000)/(n+1))... which would smear out any hourly/daily variations - so then would you do daily, hourly windows? Getting quite complex inevitably...

Getting quite complex inevitably...
I've recently been working with our programmer on developing a cost uploading system, and I can definitely confirm - it's significantly more complex than it looks as soon as you start dealing with CPM.

In theory, the ad networks could just pass you the cost of each impression bid, but that'd be ... quite a lot of data. So any approach will be an approximation.

Thanks Zeno/ Caurmen,

My set up is looking messier as i set up more tests
Any chance someone could share their spread sheet template for updating daily cost and profitability analysis ?

There should be a few floating around STM. I remember I helped someone on STM earlier this year with one of their Google docs sheets for tracking profits. Can't recall which thread, however.

Have I mastered VBulletin searching? Maybe.
