What's happening in Pay Per Call?
Thanks to STM for creating this pay per call section.
I wanted to kick things off by giving a quick update of what's currently happening in pay per call, from RingPartner's perspective.
Pay per call is growing rapidly. Advertisers really enjoy receiving calls from interested customers and since more of these potential customers are on their mobile phones, they're more likely to call. Many advertisers and publishers are taking an interest in pay per call and there are still plenty of opportunities for first-mover advantage.
Some things to be aware of - tracking is not perfect, but it's improving, campaigns generally convert on a duration, some campaigns have limited hours and locations.
Top Campaigns:
-Tech Support
-Insurance (Auto/Health)
-Financial (Cash Advance/Loans/Mortgages)
-Legal
-Home Services (Plumbing/Electrical/Solar)
Top Traffic Sources
-Search (Mobile Focused)
-PPV (Tech Support)
-Call Transfers
Please feel free to ask questions and I'll do my best to help. I know there are some publishers in this forum that are well-versed in pay per call and I'm looking forward to watching the pay per call discussion grow!

Tech support is definitely picking up momentum, what I'm noticing is the demand for 24/7 call centres over the M-F normal work hours

Can you talk a little more about call transfers as a traffic source?

For sure!
We have a separate Invoca platform for call transfers only.
Call transfers perform and behave quite differently than our click to call traffic, so we separated it out.
Depending on the campaign, we allow inbound, outbound, cold drops, warm transfers from domestic and international call centers.
Once you're approved on a campaign we'll assign an allocation to you and we can scale that once we confirm quality.
Most campaigns require a script, or in some cases we'll use a custom IVR to help qualify callers before sending them to an advertiser.
Let me know if you have further questions.
If you want to sign up to the Call Transfer platform go here >>

Cheers!
