Go Mobile == stack that money, retire before 30, upgrade to a SLS AMG & Chill
Hello STM. this is my first ever follow along. And Yes I want to stack that money, retire before 30, upgrade to a SLS AMG (approx SGD$700,000) & Chill.

thanks to caurmen for his Appetiser tutorial - clean cut & so straight to the point that it got me started.
Here are the details.
Offer
1. [WAP] Mobogenie direct download
2. Payout = $0.45
3. Country = BR
4. Angle = "Can't install Apps From Google Play Store?"
5. 4 Campaigns
-WIFI & Site
-WIFI & APP
-MOBILE & SITE
-MOBILE & APP
6. Smart CPM
- 1.5x 0.45(Payout) = 0.675
- Unlimited Budget
- Max Daily = $8
7. Traffic Source: Decisive
Here are the 8 banners that was uploaded.
Banners are non-animated & fugly?
(I just saw Mr Green's animated tutorial - will be doing that next)
Attachment 3289
Attachment 3290
Attachment 3291
Attachment 3292
Attachment 3293
Attachment 3294
Attachment 3295
Attachment 3296
Current:
- Awaiting Approval
- Need some advice on my banners. I don't know if it's ugly enough?
- Is the offer already saturated?
Thanks guys.

reupload your banners as pics not attachments. way too annoying to click all those.
also, yes those are quite ugly.

Also, your translation have a lot of wrong sentences. DO you use Google Translator ? If yes, stop using GT and use one service like http://onehourtranslation.com

yeah i used Google Translate. Reason is because stackman mentioned that google translate is better than proper translations. But of course, i will take your advice and try onehourtranslation after going through the whole process with these banners haha.
Sorry about the banner links. I copied and pasted a previous misplaced thread.
Here are the banners for those who want to view them

So you will try run the campaign with those banners ? One word: you will put ur money direclty on trash. If you got any conversions is an miracle.
I'm brazilian so i will help u out with correct sentences cause if you run this banner man, 99% of the brazilian ppl will read this and think 'WTF? Some moron write this?', but next time in your creatives use onehourtranslation services. Also i see a lot of 'Install' an english word, so you are writing an CTA button with english and ur target speak portuguese. Also i really don't like your angle but this is just my opinion.
1 - Problemas Na Instalação de Aplicativos? Experimente uma maneira mais fácil.
2 - Baixar Aplicativos Mais Rápido - Instalar
3 - Download de Aplicativos Mais Rápido - Instalar
4 -Não Consegue Instalar Aplicativos ? Instalar -
5 - Aplicativos Mais Rápidos - Instalar
6 - Instalação.. Conheça a Melhor Maneira de Instalar Aplicativos
7 - Aplicativos Mais Rápidos Aqui - Instalar
8 - Aplicativos Mais Rápidos Aqui - Instalar
Just my 2c.

Wow. thanks bro you're a lifesaver.
thankfully, decisive doesn't make your ads active immediately unlike leadimpact.
Got them changed!
here are the creatives..

Most people know that Google Translate
can give better results, often because the odd/incorrect translation will get people's attention a little better.
It is not better than OneHourTranslation, or literally any other translation service that involves a human.

cool. thanks for your view. will be using onehourtranslation for future campaigns. (:
Just a question. If google translate can give better results due to gaining people's attention, that would mean higher CTR for my banner?
Isn't high CTR something that i should be aiming for to have cheaper traffic? Just curious.

If the user has no idea what you're writing then they cant understand your angle you can't convince them to convert on your offer. Google translate could get someones attention because its wrong, but its by no means something that should be part of your 1st batch of banner tests.

YEP
I've had multiple test where i saw no real conversion difference between google translate & real human translations.
Note: I've only tested this with very short copy

Thanks for the clarification!
Anyway the
RESULTS ARE OUT!
Wasn't expecting much but had a little data
WIFI + Site = 4 conversions in total

CTR = 1.89%, 1 conversion

CTR = 1.9%, 1 Conversion

CTR = 1.77%, 1 Conversion

CTR = 1.75%, 1 conversion
Mobile + Site = 2 conversions in total

CTR = 1.56%, 2 Conversions
Mobile + App = 1 Conversion in total

CTR = 0.47%, 1 Conversion
WIFI + App = 0 conversions in total
Summary
Revenue = $3.15
Cost = $60
ROI = -94.75% (is this the right calculation?)
To Do
1. Pick another angle for the same offer
2. Use onehourtranslation.com
A Few Questions
1. Any expert advice on whether i should reuse my banner designs?
2. how should i improve my campaign?
3. is there a way to check what time were the conversions on decisive platform? i know you can check that with cpvlab. not sure about this one. -> so that i can start my next campaign around that timing.
Thanks guys!

Congrats on the conversions! Yep, your ROI calculation looks about right.
I suspect you'll end up wanting to test more offers, but definitely try the second angle as the next test. What were your CPCs (costs per click) on that campaign?

WIFI + App: $0.01

OK, cool. CPCs are reasonably low, so there are no obvious problems there. Onward!

First, congrats on taking action, good job!
You got some good feedback above, the only thing I would like to add is to split test more offers.
Mobogenie still works but it's not at it's peak anymore. Ask your AM for top offers in brazil and test 1-2 more.

Might sound a stupid question, but did you target only Android devices?
Don't see it mentioned in your thread, and mobogenie is for Android devices only.
I would also say that mobogenie was good when it was new months ago, but it's probably saturated already.

Awesome. just curious, you meant "Split test more offers" means using different offers (same type of product like antivirus) or the same offer from different cpa networks?
oh man.. is there a way to find out when did the app appear on the market? Maybe that will help to filter out these type of offers from the top offers list provided from my AM?
thanks for the feedback!

Ah no wonder there were clicks but little installs. The users must have already installed them.
