landing page testing / multivariate testing? (11)

landing page testing / multivariate testing?

i am doing some testing on headlines and adcopies and the CTA. I have 4 headlines 4 adcopies 2 ctas.

what would be a systematic way of testing these variables(do I do multivariate or just A/B split)?

do i have to make 4x4x2 = 32 landers to test or is there a better system of testing. I am aware that there are certain multivariate testing programs tools that can help in these sort of testing, but I am not sure which to use? Which one would you recommend?

Also, when processing and analyzing the data, do I test each lander against the control or can I test against them the best performing variant lander?

thanks

@andyvon here have created some tutorials for this.
But it's for CPVLab. If you use CPVLab, might worth a try.

I've tried it before, and it worked

Currently I'm working on LPOptimzer version 2. There were so many changes to be made on the old version that we started writing it from scratch. I'm proud of the result so far...it will be 10x better than current version.

LPOptimizer v2 can't be compared with LPG, LPG is an old unmaintained script, but it can get compared to Optimizely/VWO. LPO2 will be like Optimizely/VWO, the same landing page editor style but with full synchronization with your hosting and tracking platform. With LPO2 you won't need a javascript code into your lander(like Optimizely/VWO does), mostly because that script will slow down the page...that's why I choosed the hard way...to create different files for each variation so it won't affect the loading speed in any way. And the price can't be compared. With regular AB testing tools, if you are a decent affiliate, you'll need to pay thousands $/year.

You will only need to create a new experiment, select a lander you want to optimize from the tracker, you create the variations and LPO will handle the rest. For example if you have 4 landers running in a campaign, you can select one, make another 10 variations with LPO in 2 minutes and finish the setup. LPO will add the new variations to your tracker with proper settings...you don't even need to pause the campaign.

Cool!

What tracking systems do you plan to integrate with?

Current users will be able to use the new beta version in about 10-14 days.

Maybe in a week after that, those who are in the waiting line for the last few months we'll be able to purchase it. I can't say for sure when it will be open for public but for sure we'll limit the registrations in the first few months so we can take care of every customer and make sure everything is set up and working properly.
