Hey guys, I've got a little mystery I'm trying to solve concerning the organic traffic of a recently launched website of mine.
We're actively linkbuilding the site and adding content continuously. However, the number of our organic impressions is flattening out in the last couple of months and seems to be stable at around a thousand a day. Of course we're looking for growth which means a lot more impressions!
I'm attaching a screenshot from Analytics (WMT connected) of the impressions.
I've been searching for any info on this phenomenon but can't find anyone. Does anyone know why the growth in impressions has just come to a halt? Is this a sandbox-like feature Google has for newly launched sites?
Any info is much appreciated!
Is it possible that you simply moved up the SERPs and have reached a position plateau >> consistent daily searches?
Or have your rankings been continuously increasing as well?
@zeno - you might be right
What a simple but (probably) correct answer! Our rankings have not increased that much in the last months so that must be the explanation. Thanks!
Are you stuck moving up the SERPs despite still building backlinks?
