Facebook Account Disabled!

Now heres the weird thing, when I try to log in they say its disabled for suspicious payment activity and tells me to contact them and another email states it has been disabled and can't be reactivated, what do I do in this situation?

Yeah I've heard of a couple accounts being disabled for the same reason. Your best option is to contact them and sort out why it's suspicious activity. If that doesn't work then time to make a 2nd account, use the guide in the guides section. My recommendation would be to make sure you use a new payment method, or CC. Whatever method you used to pay with don't use it again on your new account. Also try to use a different address. Let me know if you need any help

I've had some issues before (think it was with 7search) due to using proxies. Since then I've tried to be careful using proxies when logging into my advertising accounts.

Yea they banned it and they banned my american express card on file to. Whats the work around for that?

jroes, what stuff were you running that could be the reason for ban?

I think AMEX has some work arounds for getting multiple numbers or something. So give them a call
If not get a new CC, use it for Advertising only. Use your other CC for everything else

A toolbar called Cartoonly. What it does is it adds more ads on facebooks home page lol

^LOL! Never heard of it! Doesn't sounds like the best idea though. Just call up amex see if you can get a 2nd number i'm pretty sure they have some sort of service like that, otherwise get a 2nd CC for AM.

Lol that was my 2nd CC for AM :P

They just disabled the second one and I followed your instructions stack, what should I do next?

03-12-2011 12:09 AM #11 stackman (Administrator)

You just made a 2nd account? you obviously used the same payment info (even just 1 part) as your last account...

03-12-2011 12:15 AM #12 jroes57 (Member)

I used a different card number but same name, does it work if you used the middle inital now?

03-12-2011 12:27 AM #13 stackman (Administrator)

Well now they may have that new card you used on a black list as well.

I would use on the first initial of your last name, or just half of your last name. Also all different payment/billing info. New address, etc... Your type of ban is a payment ban, they record your payment info and black list it.

How in the world do I get new billing info? I just requested a new card from AMEX, but it has the same billing address on the card as the last one.

Attempt to use a friends address, see if it matches CC's with address. I don't think Facebook does. I've only been banned once and it wasn't payment related. You need a new identity here, minus your IP, so think about anything you can do so the system doesn't recognize it's you.

So try and submit a different billing address with my credit card. What about paypal how would that work? Would they be able to tell the card on file?

03-12-2011 01:51 PM #17 staffanm (Member)

Yeah I am also interested to know if you are able to use the same paypal account. Does anybody know?

03-12-2011 03:15 PM #18 Jay (Member)

Is it possible to have multiple PayPal accounts with the same credit card in it?

Actually, let me try...

03-12-2011 05:15 PM #19 Jay (Member)

Ok, you cannot have multiple PayPal accounts with the same credit card.

However, after tinkering around with things, you can change your primary e-mail address, or even add additional e-mail addresses.

Does someone who is currently banned want to try either changing their e-mail address, or adding an additional one and try setting up a new Facebook Ads account with it?

Yeah it would be extremely interesting to know the outcome of this

03-13-2011 07:59 AM #21 stackman (Administrator)

My suspected outcome:
- If it's a normal ban due to numerous disapproval's etc, then the same paypal account will work
- If it's a ban due to suspicious payment activity and you were paying through paypal, then it prob won't work
