Anybody here with actual experience in promoting webcam offers?

Everywhere I look, any spy tool I use, there are not much people promoting webcam offers directly from the sources most of us are familiar with.
Like Exo, TJ, etc.

1. Is that because it's not lucrative enough. Or perhaps people want to see profit on the short term, and forget the long term?
2. Do we still use a landingpage when promoting a webcam offer? I have never seen one though, but think it could work.
3. There are so many bad webcam offers out there that I find it hard to find out where to start my search for good ones that actually convert.
When I say bad I mean, terrible support/contact options, people can't answer simple questions about statistics, etc.
Most owners/support just say "Yeah promote us man, we rock!". Yeah I'm going to invest my earned money on those few words... not!
4. I would prefer a PPL on a webcam offer + rev share. This way my trackingsystem can easily spot the banners/LPs that looks promising.

Can someone help me a bit here to setup a great webcam campaign?

Thanks!
Dennis

Interesting question!

I've not promoted cam offers myself, but other people on STM have mentioned doing so in the past.

It's definitely one of the faster-growing areas of adult - looking forward to the answers myself!

I've promoted whitelabel webcams for years, used to bank 5 figures a month before google started releasing the arctic animals. Never tried it with paid traffic though.

I tried $500 via TJ using crak ads for cam sites placed on porn tube sites .... no conversion. Seems the porn tubers havent the time to go look at cam sites when they have something "in hand" if you know what I mean! Please anyone who has found where to place which ad, giving a good ret on inv, spill the beans man!!!!!!

I've also try webcam ad on my tubes network.
Conversion was just terrible, I cut it really fast.

I do make some conversions with crakrevenue and myfreecam using my popup traffic, but I've replace it by pills marketing that makes more money for me.

Cam sites shave extremely as well. Not really worth it.

Cams require special type of traffic, you can convert them pretty well in case you get targeted organic traffic - so as iAmAttila said, they can work well with your custom whitelabel sites that you manage to rank well in google for example. Cause then you get traffic from keywords like "cams, webcams, webcam porn, tranny cams" ... etc, you get the idea, those surfers are already pre-sold and looking for cam sites actively. Trying to sell them to general public on the tubes is way harder, especially since there is the language barrier and poor monetization model - mostly just credit cards that do not work so well in emerging countries. Dating works better with the general audience, thus the bids are based on datings performance and you will have a hard time converting cams well enough to justify the high traffic cost. Of course cams can work, but you will need to find the matching traffic sources with audience interested into cams - read amateur community sites for example, since thats a direct match with the core idea of cams.
