I need some help - i need my ads like everytime, nothing special.
Normally im getting 2-4% CTR on news feeds. But 2 days ago i turned on campaigns and suddenly went to 20-30% CTR. 10-20% Organic Traffic, i normally have 0,1 % Organic. My clicks are suddenly 1-2 clicks and conversions the same. Murdering it and wondering how to increase Organic Traffic on all news feeds? Other accounts remain same.
If anyone can help - highly appreciated. This is a fucking goldmine, when you think about how to get most organic traffic!
This is not much information to go by to provide any meaningful advice.
From the basic outlines, though, I would suspect that one of your newsfeed ads/posts got passed around a bit or became particularly relevant due to some external event and as a result experienced a small viral traffic jump for the day.
i have this for 3 days now and the CTR is not going down.
I started the ads on right column and builded some likes on the fan page. Then i turned on the news feeds and the blast started. I have to say my european accounts stopped spending because of facebook updates but they went on after few hours. Another acc i started same day has normal rates, normal organic rates. I must have the best placements, i dont really understand why its so popular all of a sudden and what to do different the next times.
You're not really defining what's happening very well.
Are your ads simply getting much higher CTR than normal - and were they doing worse before?
You say organic rates, but I think you may mean social CTR - Facebook ads don't have an 'organic' metric.
How many social impressions you get depends on a few things, the most important being that people actually like/share your ads.
im getting 10% social CTR - i never had that before.
They did ok before but now they explode. My click prices were about 20cents before now 2-3 cents.
These things will happen from time to time and are generally one off cases.
Unless you are willing to share your ad here, I don't think anyone on the forum can provide any greater insight on what may have happened.
Just try to google your ad, or do a twitter search on it or visit the FB pages and comments from people who may have shared your ad, and then I am sure you will quickly find out what may have happened.
This is very likely because people are sharing the ad.
You can see if this is happening by opening the campaign and then clicking on the actual ad in the ad sets. You will be able to see the likes, comments and shares for each ad individually.
Is there anything abnormal there?
There is nothing abnormal there and the pictures and texts are what i use everytime. The only thing that changed drmaatically is the orgnaic reach and the CTR! Everything else is the same.
If you really can't figure this out by yourself, I would suggest you just post all of your stats and your ads here (including ads that get low shares and the one that got high shares). I am pretty sure the more experienced STM members will be able to tell you what is going on almost immediately.
Right now, this is a little bit like someone saying calling up tech support and saying "My computer doesn't work, my computer doesn't work ... everything is normal but my computer doesn't work."
There is not much that tech support can help you with with just that to work from.
I am sure others want to help you here, but from your side, you need to make it easier for them to help you as well.
Yeah you are right. I posted two general metrics. First link of a normal campaign, second of this one now.
http://www.xup.to/dl,83885587/Genera...014-08-25.csv/
http://www.xup.to/dl,95337056/Genera...14-08-252.csv/
the second is normally running like the first.
Can you please just post a screenshot of your metrics and embed it here as well as images of the ad that seems to be getting a lot of social shares and the ones that are not? You should blur out anything that you are not comfortable sharing.
