Domain Name Matters or What?

So ppl, this is the point, domain name matters or not ?

So lets suppose that you will star run an diet offer for PT (Portugal) would you use weightlossfactor.com (just an example) an domain that you already have registered or you guys will register an new one like (percapeso.com) in portuguese language?
If you start run an BizzOpp offer in have-fun-portal.com you think that domain will have the same CTR%, CR%, than an domain nammed howgetmoneyonline.com ?

Run an mobile antivirus offer on an domain hot-dating-online.com will work ?

So guys, its yours turn. Put your thoughts here.

Domain names matter or what ?

Always test yourself... The costs of a domain and privacy (if you want) costs nothing these days.

Definitely depends on traffic. It matters with mobile for sure.

I'm assuming you're asking for PPV specifically so i'll let a PPV expert answer.

1 tip no matter what traffic source is getting a couple generic domains for different niches.. AKA:
- xxxdating.com
- newageskincare.com
- whiteningnews.com

Get a few staple domains and you're usually set.

Stackman, you think that it's important register local domains for local offers, or local language domains.

You want to use all the tools you have to build trust with the user on your ad and landing page. If that means choosing a domain name that a local will understand, then by all means, yes.

Domain names are generally cheap.

I think that:

1) In most cases domain names won't have a substantial influence

2) In most cases domain names are so cheap that it would be silly to avoid the 5 min it takes to buy and set one up

As cmdeal said... if you can get a localised domain name (e.g. in their language + .co or whatever extension) then just do it... Ya never know - sometimes it might be quite beneficial!
