Is there a way to save threads in this forum, to a central location for myself?
I keep finding v useful bits and pieces here and there, but I spend most my time trying to find them again.

Yep, just click on "thread tools" on the top right and select "subscribe to this thread".
You can then view all the threads you have subscribed to on your profile page.
