Is this a legit business model or just a scam?

Hi,

Just came across this flippa site deal: https://flippa.com/3172515-5-663-mo-...erience-needed.

Short description. This website offers a very demanded product which are premium unique WordPress themes. This is basically a "Turnkey business" but you do have to give it love for it to prosper.

Gross revenue is $5,663 and net profit is $4,281 is what the seller claims. Is this possble? Should I trust this?

Any thoughts?

It hardly looks reputable.

But more importantly, if they make custom themes for people, how exactly do designers/staff fit in to the site purchase?

It claims to make custom themes, so there must be someone somewhere who works on things, and you likely aren't buying them or their skills.

The work is done by "an incredibly reliable worker/outsourcer" like he describes. 20% of project is goint to outsourcer.

This business simply can't be ran by someone who don't know what the outsourcer is doing.
Who is looking at their work, what will happen if there are enormous bugs in the code that make the website of your clients vulnerable to god knows what.
How are you going to promote this website?

Ahh, yeah didn't read much of it.

But as Dennis commented... I wouldn't pick something up like this if the work you are outsourcing is outside your abilities to proof.

Why would someone sell a business that makes $4,281 a month for .... just $2,650?

Did you look at the seller's other auctions. I wouldnt be surprised if he has sold this same business with a different domain name before.
