Congratulations to dr_ngo and Finch!
I can personally vouch for these two blogs as I read them myself.
In an industry where the signal to noise ratio tends to be remarkably low, where proper grammar seems to be a foreign concept, and where every blog post needs to be taken with a grain of salt as the author may be pushing something to make a quick buck, these two blogs really stand out for both the quality of their content and the clarity of their writing.
Top 10 Affiliate Blogs
Excerpted from http://blog.whatrunswhere.com/top-affiliate-blogs/
"Affiliate Marketing can be a pretty daunting pool to jump into. With so many programs to choose from, and so much competition, beginners sure have a lot of information to sort through. Once they’ve caught on though, they can get right into the fun (and profit!).
Affiliate blogs are valuable resources for learning tips, tricks and getting the inside scope. We put together a list of the top ones that you should read and bookmark. They are written for affiliates by affiliates who have been around for a number of years and continue to make a huge impact in the industry
To save you some guesswork, we’ve made a list of the Top 10 Affiliate Blogs that you should be reading…
huge congrats to the both, really deserving!!! cannot mention how much charles has helped in my AM career!
Great work and well done to them both.
Both well deserved, not only are their blogs amazing, but their posts here as well. My evernote is filled with snippets from the two!
Well deserved, congrats!
Congrats to both of you, you both are awesome and super helpful & "cool" ;-) You deserved it.
PS: cmdeal you're a beast too :P (in a good sense)
Well deserved, congrats..
You got a blog, CM?
I've gleamed some stuff from Charles' blog that went very under the radar. Just a sentence here or there, it's made such a difference in my business. Great resources.
I post anything ... and only so since it is a private forum.
Congrats Charles & Finch, well deserved! Great work, keep it up guys
Very well deserved indeed. Congratulations both!
You read my mind, I was about to post what affiliate blogs I should read
Congratulations to charles & finch.
Well done, both excellent blogs indeed.
Congrats guys, both blogs are amazing and I read them regularly.
Congrats guys!
Man a couple on that list are horrendous picks.
Congratulation Charles & Finch! I never miss new post.
Congrats Finch & Charles. Do keep writing more great info on the blogs.
Thanks everyone for the nice words! Feeling sluggish at 4pm so this was a nice kick in the ass.
One of the most important lessons I've learned is that the more I give, the more I get back.
A lot of guys see the time I put into the blog and think about the opportunity costs. Why run a blog when you could be working on campaigns or other ventures that are far more profitable?
Well, I always felt this obligation to help the industry. John Chow / Shoemoney introduced me to affiliate marketing, and Nickycake's blog literally gave me my first campaign. If it weren't for affiliate blogs, I'd still be at a 9 - 5 job.
There's nothing like the feeling of a random stranger walking up to you at a conference, and having them say you helped changed their life for the better.
You don't need a blog to make a difference. This forum can be your platform. Just help others and share what advice you can. Have an "abundance" mentality when it comes to wealth.
I'll keep writing as long as I can, but I definitely hope there's a new generation of affiliate marketing bloggers.
Blogs excelled me and my campaigns years ago! Glad to see these 2 chosen, not sure where some of the others came from.. not at the same caliber at all
Congrats to both guys for sure!
Congrats to both! quality content without the bs, srsly!
There is no question that the best affiliate blogs in the world are written by STM members. www.CharlesNgo.com, www.FinchSells.com, www.MalanDarras.com ... and dozens more.
However, my question to you ...
What are some of the best blogs written by non-affiliate marketers that you read?
This can be blogs by
* people who are in the general Internet industry (e.g. Neil Patel) or
* people who write about stuff that have some implications to affiliate marketing (e.g. Dan Ariely or Tim Ferriss) or even
* people who have absolutely nothing to do with Internet or marketing at all.
Fire away!
Wallstreetplayboys have pretty good reads!
Wallstreetplayboys and Dangerandplay
I read Mark Suster's Both Sides of the Table: http://www.bothsidesofthetable.com/
It's about Silicon Valley, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, etc. His advice is priceless to entrepreneurs and he has likely saved people millions of dollars by helping them avoid bad deals and bad surprises in term sheets.
Oliver Emberton has some good stuff: http://oliveremberton.com/the-best-of-oliver-emberton/
Great Job Guys

Keep up the good work and continue making STM community proud!
I love jamesclear.com and cal newport
