need basic help tracking with prosper, decisive and mundo :)

Hi, I'm trying to set up campaign with decisive as traffic, mundo as affiliate network and stm tracker on my site.
I don't know how to set up the pixel stuff with mundo. Mundo says for this campaign it's server to server tracking.

Prosper gave me 2 links, a pixel and a postback url.

pixel: <img height="1" width="1" border="0" style="display: none;" src="http://dvirdomain.com/tracking202/static/gpx.php?amount=" />
postback url: http://dvirdomain.com/tracking202/st...amount=&subid=

Second question, The link I placed in stm tracker from mundo was http://******.com/***/*****/&subid1=campaignname&subid2={{{bidha sh}}}
is that link correct?

I'm running the offer with 1 lander page.

Thank you, I wonder if anyone ever understood this tracking right off the bat

Dvir

It all starts with your link used in ads at Decisive.

Whatever your tracking link is, you will pass {{{bidhash}}} after some specific key.

It may be... t202kw, or c1, or c5, who cares. This key - c1, c5, etc., will be what you tell prosper202 to pass back to Decisive.

Each time someone goes through your tracking link, p202 gives them a numerical subid.

This is what you need to pass to Mundo, so that they can later pass it back to p202.

So your affiliate link used in the STM tracker should have ....subid2=[[subid]] in it.

Then your postback URL in Mundo would be hxxp://dvirdomain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?amount=%%price%%&subid=%%subid2%%

Note I have no idea what tokens Mundo uses so don't just use %%subid2%% blindly, actually find out what is correct.

If you set this up correctly, p202 will pass e.g. '157' to Mundo under subid2. That person converts, Mundo then sends back to p202... hxxp://dvirdomain.com/tracking202/static/gpb.php?amount=50&subid=157

Woohoo click 157 just converted, giving a revenue of $50!

Now, if you want to pass this back to Decisive as well, you need a 'third-party postback' configured.

I believe this is set in traffic sources, but I am not sure how well it works.

If you go to Decisive under traffic sources you should be able to add this. Just use [[c2]] or similar, based on where you originally passed {{{bidhash}}} after.

I'm not 100% on how well p202 does this, so I would be tempted to pass this guy onward to the network as well, to make tracking easy.

E.g. change your affiliate link in p202 to have ....subid2=[[subid]]&subid3=[[c2]]

It's all about passing labeled cards of information, you just have to realise that they all have their own labels/tokens dependent on the platform.

Thanks Zeno, I modified it and I'll have any problems I'll contact my manager.
It actually makes sense after a while, that's a cool feeling!

hi Dvir, I see you are using prosper202 - hope you can help me with a question. What do you do about a domain, I see in the above link you have it setup to dvirdomain.com is this the URL you use. Basically I ask as I am not sure about the URL under FB ads, shoulld I register a generic domain. i.e advert.com and then host prosper on that.

Hi Ady, I use a generic name domain like wincontests.com but I have no clue about facebook ads and what they accept. Ask on the facebook forum if it's still relevent
