Click loss again

Hi. I am running a mainstream dating offer to Brazil from F5 Media.

F5 is showing total clicks for my 4 campaigns as 1,220 (Redirect 56; Offer 1,164).

Voluum is showing 2,485 clicks and decisive showing 2,862 clicks.

I have checked the duplicates in the report at F5 and they are minimal (a little over a hundred), I have checked Geo (in Voluum) and almost all the traffic is from Brazil. I have even used Decisive's Click Loss explorer to download and check the clicks and didn't see anything off...assuming I know what I was looking for .

Now I know click loss in mobile is part of the game. I am just wondering if this much click loss is acceptable or reasonable. If not, what else can I do to understand what is going on? Thanks.

Not acceptable really.

Could be due to Cake's infrastructure, which I would trust as far as I could virtually throw it.

LOL

So does this mean it is generally advisable to stay away from aff networks using Cake? I understand that Cake is getting popular...

No, Cake is a great platform, just their tracking/click redirect speeds from outside of Tier1 countries is a matter of debate... and there seems to be very little information on how geo-distributed their infrastructure is.

I did some tests a while back from a lot of geos and the speeds suggested everything was going to a US-based server (even stuff from Australia, Singapore, Japan, etc.).

Thanks a lot, Zeno.

So basically, though it's unacceptable, this is a situation we will have to live with for now, right?

Possibly... though you should still speak to your AM to ask for some info - it's possible, given Cake likely uses a different database to Voluum, that they are detecting a chunk of clicks as being outside Brazil whereas Voluum/Decisive disagree.

Ok Zeno. I will. Thanks a lot.
