offers withdead links on affiliate networks?

Hi,

so I'm looking at pages of offers, then I click one to view the details of the offer, and it redirects me to the affiliate network general offers page.

Does it mean that the offer is dead on that network?

Thank you!

The aff link or the preview link?

There are always dead links floating about that haven't been cleaned up.

Anyway, if you are loading an aff link, load it through an appropriate VPN/proxy - otherwise your observation, i.e. the resulting page, is not reliable.

What constitutes an appropriate VPN / proxy?

appropriate VPN / proxy is the one for which the offer country is.

Also, if it's a mobile offer, load it on a mobile device.

Many mobile offers on Google Play, for example, will load up as a white screen on a desktop emulator - but will redirect to Google Play fine on a phone.

@caurmen, why it load up as a white screen, I prefer to run it on desktop for productivity

@hd2010 - because you're not running Android and so the Google Play app links aren't understood by your browser.

You can run Android on VirtualBox (props to bbrock for that awesome tip) which will let you properly test android apps on your desktop machine.
