Hello there,
it looks like facebook does not like F5 urls (the ads get rejected because of the URL). I remember reading in Zeno's guide "don't direct link offers", so I guess that's why.
To my understanding you can get around this problem by using a software such as prosper which can redirect links (so you can "cloak" the original URL), am I correct?
If yes, is prosper the best solution for a newbie, or other sw such as
thanks!
Best :-)
Generally FB, can see through 'all layers' of redirects, so this won't solve your problem.
Or it hasn't in my experience.
Though getting used to using a tracking platform like prosper is still a good idea in general.
You should certainly use a tracking system - any kind - from the very beginning.
This won't help if the offer is causing the problem.
And you should be geo-redirecting correctly, as outlined in my guide.
Lastly, this isn't really cloaking - just tracking - one of the cornerstones of marketing!
Are you getting auto denied? Try iframing the url here is an example, you can add more style to get it to do what it needs.
<html>
<body style="padding:0; margin:0">
<iframe src="http://yourscammyaffiliatelink.com" height="3600px" width="100%"></iframe>
</body>
</html>
Yah, not using a tracking system from the very beginning is generally counter-productive, and doesn't really save time.
It's also easier to change the click-flow/redirect path with a tracking system.
