Hi guys im a noob. Im trying to promote a game on decisive using us traffic. But my targeting is so broad that it just eats up all my budget. All my banners has the same amounts of clicks and impression shown so data was insignificant. The offer pays 1.75 per install. What is the best way to collect the data without my budget being sucked up? Thank you guys in advanced.
I have never had success running games on decisive. Utility and browser types apps have always performed better for me.
If you want to stick to games, maybe try to target just game type apps and sites, or ask your AM for stats on carrier and handset performance.
On Decisive the only times I made games work were on geos where the bids were super cheap.
My first profitable game campaign there was targeting Israel.
Ohdam, i guess my US game offers is prob not going to cut it on decisive. Do you guys recommend any traffic source good for games besides facebook? I heard popup traffic is pretty good for games. Thanks your helps mr green and bbrock.
Gaming is a huge entertainment vertical so can generally work on most major/broad traffic sources.
Aside from FB, i'd say media buys and RTB display sources are the biggest (non-mobile I mean).
PPV is... meh, it is dying and many gamers are tech savvy enough to not have IE with a shitty toolbar.
