What do people think of binary and forex affiliate programs and making a success of the vertical across search/ppc or some other way?
Looks insanely competitive but that doesn't mean it's worth avoiding, does it?
Forex is heavily regulated these days, so you will have to pay very close attention to what geo you are driving traffic from and to. I don't know what the SEC's take would be on affiliates but you could conceivably end getting the broker in hot water if you advertise to the wrong country.
I'm not sure what the latest is on binary options, but as always you want to be ahead of the crowd as much as possible.
binary is going down . Canada and US is closed but forex is making a huge comeback.

When taking a CPA binary/forex offer don't only look at the payout but also at
1) the minimum deposit the user needs to make
2) the amount of trades required
Pixel will only fire after step 2 is completed so the higher the deposit and the more trades the higher the payout, sometimes its better to run at a bit lower payout but with a lower deposit and preferably just one minimum trade required

I see lots of binary/forex on adult. An evergreen niche. And it can be very profitable, as long as you have the budget to test it. Profit won't come cheap here! The Swiss/Brit/etc method offers seem to be very popular still.
Concerning Binary, I do a lot of media buying for binary offers but they do require very high budgets, especially if you run them on CPA payouts
If you are are just starting out, i would suggest looking for offers that payout out on Email submit or CPL since it requires lower budgets and converts fairly easily, however ROI potential is quite low compared to CPA payouts.
Only when you have a good base of profitable sources for CPL and email submit, only then you should try to run on CPA (your ROI potential is usually higher when running on CPA).
Basically, test and optimize sources for binary offers on CPL or email submit offers (which requires less budget) and only when you gather the "sweet spots" move to CPA payouts to boost the ROI on your existing campaigns.
Concerning Forex, like mentioned above they have very strict regulations which makes them harder to promote. From what I see, Forex works best for dedicated SEO sites and IBs(Introducing brokers) which makes it less media buying friendly.
