Adxpansion and Voluum (6)

I am trying to add adxpansion for Voluum tracking. The parameter provided by the traffic source are zoneid, keyword, and country only. So when setting my traffic source in Voluum, for custom variable do i enter those 3? Do i need to enter an externalid like decisive? Also adxpansion only provided a image pixel. So the postback url is the url inside the image pixel right?

That sounds like AdXpansion doesn't offer server-to-server tracking.

In which case, you would put all three as custom parameters and not add anything for external ID.

Image pixels need to be loaded by the user, so no they cannot be dropped into the postback URL box - this would cause Voluum's server to load the same image upon conversions and this communicates no useful info to AdXpansion.

So, you'll want to place the image pixel on the thank you page if possible, along with using Voluum's conversion tracking.

i have never created a thank you page. How do you redirect viewers after conversions from offer page back to a thank you page?

You don't - this is the advertiser's responsibility.

If you are using an affiliate network that uses Cake, just place the AdXpansion pixel in the Pixel HTML box.

Otherwise talk to your AM and figure out how to place an image pixel for the offer.
