I see this phrase on a some offer descriptions ("No icon-drop traffic").

Sources like airpush allow you to drop an icon on the users phone and when they click they will be redirected to your app / url.

What brock said. Not sure why they wouldn't want icon drop traffic. A lot of guys do icon drops to app of the day type pages. Then run multiple offers over time.
