Losing clicks between ad network, tracking system, and offer network
The clicks/visits reported between my ad network, tracking software, and offer network do not match. It clearly looks like I'm losing people going from ad network to tracking software and then again from tracking software to offer network.
Am I right to think that there's a problem here? If so, what should I do about it?
Decisive (ad network):
1092 clicks
Voluum (tracking):
540 visits
Avazu (offer network):
466 clicks

This is called click loss and is nothing new - it is unavoidable.
However, your Decisive > Voluum loss is higher than normal.
Can you confirm that you are looking at lifetime stats for the campaign at both Decisive and Voluum?

Yes, I am looking at the lifetime stats for both. One thing to note is that the Avazu offer link only works within a certain geo - I assume all of India, since this is an Indian offer. In Decisive, I chose to only advertise in India. But maybe Avazu and Decisive have different methods for determining whether someone is in India. In that case, Decisive would send a click through, but it would not be recorded by Avazu. But that still wouldn't explain the drop from Decisive to
Voluum.

Yes you are correct about the difference in geo-detection - it does happen.
You can however ask your AM to check how many clicks were out-of-geo, which will give you a better idea of your Voluum > Avazu loss. Of course also look at your country data in Voluum to see how many it thinks are from India - the issue may come from the source which has to do the hard yards in getting IN-only traffic.
Your Decsive > Voluum loss is quite depressing. See if a lot is coming from just a few placements or if the % loss is similar throughout.
India has pretty crap mobile connectivity, so it may just be that the users phones time out trying to load the tracking link, where the closest server is probably in the EU somewhere or Singapore...
