How do Hoosuite, Sprout, etc, connect to Facebook?

Hey, was wondering if anyone knows how these social media management tools actually connect to Facebook. When I post to an account via Hootsuite, does Facebook record the IP address of my computer? Or is the post coming from somewhere at Hootsuite via some API key? If it does come from Hootsuite, can Facebook see that all of my accounts are coming from the same Hootsuite account? Or will each account just have a unique API key?

I don't know about Hootsuite specifically, but generally they're using the FB API to do the heavy lifting.

All API-driven on the backend.

I doubt Facebook will be able to see any sort of Hootsuite ID that would connect your accounts but you could ask their support.

Even if they can, I don't see them policing this since one of the purposes of Hootsuite is management of multiple pages and/or accounts...
