Peaches Sold as Sexy Butts in China

Peaches have long been compared to backsides. Because, well, peaches look like tushes! And now, thanks to some fruit venders in China, they really look like butts. Sexy butts. P

These peaches are apparently being sold to capitalize on the the upcoming romantic Qixi Festival. They're a novelty present! And should be taken as such. But, they aren't cheap: A box of nine panty fruit is 498 yuan or US$80.
That's a hefty profit. What's their cost of goods for 9 peaches and 9 mini panties, a couple of bucks? If you think you're cool with your advanced spy tools and your 500% ROI, you've just been destroyed by some Chinese farmer.

It's a cool angle, but you are still crazy if you buy these overpriced products.. if you assume that we behave as economically rational agents.

Yes, I know they are just assumptions which often aren't satisfied. There's enough evidence in behavioural economics research for that. But what I meant was this:

Yeah, I know. That's true. I also was surprised that I actually got a few hundres of people to signup for an adult dating offer that clearly states in their Terms of Services that the website only contains fake profiles for entertainment purposes. Not to speak of what you'll find if you google the naked url of the datingsite.. a lot of dissatisfied users!

The difference here, though, is they are FOOLED to actually believe that they can jump tonight into some hot pussy - which, of course, isn't the reality. If they KNEW, it wasn't reality they NEVER would signup and behave economically rational.

Now they think they can actually score a fuck date tonight. Before they can do that, they have to pay the membership fee of $49 a month. The guy is thinking behind his laptop.. Hmmm, I thought it was free - but fuck it. I'm horny.. and if I were to go fuck a hooker tonight I would pay $100 for a night..

$49 < $100 --> So the decision is made quick.
