Anyone else have this or have any idea why this would happen?
I moved my server IPs last Thursday due to Avast (and a few other AVs I think) marking the old IP as dangerous and all of my LP CTRs took a fairly large hit. This is across 50 or 60 campaigns, so it's enough of a sample size to see something changed.
Same hosting, LPs, domains, etc. etc.
Just a new IP for the cPanels.
Not all DNS servers serving the new IP would be my guess.
How long does that take to completely finish? I thought it was just a few hours
Depends on the geo, most of the times it's a few hours, but they say it could take up to 48 hours.
Check your TTL on your domain name A-record.
It will be in seconds probably, e.g. 3600, or 144000 or whatever.
This will basically give you your window of lag for your old entries expiring.
Just posting an update in case anyone else runs into this.
I found out my AV (and probably others) marked the URLs also even after changing my server IP.
I put everything on new domains and my LP CTRs instantly doubled and tripled depending on the GEO.
Also a preventative note: don't put all of your domains on one cPanel, and keep your Wordpress stuff separate from everything!
