Partner Categories outside of US and UK

Hey guys,

I want to use partner categories for our facebook ads unfortunately I am based in Germany.

There partner categories are unavailable.

What would you recommend to work around this?

I thought about only using an US address, using a proxy, using US credit cards etc. Do you have any experiences?

I welcome your feedback!

If you are based in Germany you can enable some of the categories by switching to a US VPN when logged in to the power editor already, then refreshing.

Other options are account based and will appear only if you have e.g. a US or UK-based account.

Others are whitelist only and/or available on business accounts.

I would just make a US account through a VPS and with a US credit card, or better yet just make a business account since this will have access to regardless of your location.

I presume you want the obscured categories for mainly targeting US users? Many of them come from data on mainly US people so they have limited use abroad i.e. small to no audience size.

Hi Zeno,

thanks for the great advice. Yes I am mainly targeting US users. Then it is probably the best way the use a US VPN Server with US credit card and make an account only for this purpose.
