From the people I talked to there is a high demand for networking during ASE in New York. This thread should change that and enable quality networking between forum members in a structured, efficient manner.

My experience in AM in one sentence: I work in the internet business for 7 years fulltime, but most of the time on the product side, I built a hosting company in school which was sold later, would consider myself pretty much the average STMer in terms of AM skills

It's just odd not knowing who people are, yet everyone hates the goofy "Hi my name is" badge.
Maybe someone could come up with a creative & possibly cool way connecting a forum name to a person at the meetup.
I didn't meet everyone on the list...yes it's my fault.
I was the one with the metal business cards.
I know I ran into a bunch of stackers here.

A lesson might be to set up meetings well early in advance, things just got too hectic during the 3 days.
As far as I know all participants were quite advanced, which was quite unexpected, expected it to be more beginner-like which was definitely not the case. All were full time affiliates. Quite likely that I was the lowest ranking affiliate in this thread.
I enjoyed it personally a lot as it was very specifially about the processes they used to set up campaigns etc.
As the meeting time was usually well over 1h, there was more time to dive deep in on things instead of the usual fast-talk at the parties
But that's just my subjective idea, individual results may vary
No Steve I am pretty sure I was the lowest ranking affiliate in this thread! :-) that much I am sure, but I had a good time and met a lot of guys from the forum all of which were pretty amazing. I cant wait for the next meetup I will make it my business to be there!
