Mobile app tracking | Facebook
Hey guys,
(*Not sure if this should be posted in Mobile or Facebook*)
As an affiliate, I usually track mobile ad campaigns via iMobitrax or Voluum.
However, I'm going to promote an iPad app directly via Facebook app install ads, and I also need to measure metrics like LTV etc.
For this purpose, Facebook only allows selected mobile measurement partners: http://www.facebook-pmdcenter.com/category/mobile
Which one do you prefer? Is it true that FB mobile measurement partners cannot track Facebook ad clicks ?
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Is this app your app?
Or someone elses?
Are you promoting it through a CPA Network?
More info please

I'm in touch with a developer directly (not availale through a CPA network), and we agreed on promoting the app through FB app install ads. As a result, we'd need to track campaigns via one of FB mobile measurement partners.

I've only just started looking at these sdks, but from what I've seen I'd go with Kochava or Appsflyer just because I've seen them integrated with quite a few other products in my searching.

There will certainly be platforms that are made for tracking app installs through ads.
I haven't tested things myself, but can you not use FB's conversion pixels and drop in Facebook's SDK yourself (or get app devs to) rather than going through a 3rd party?

Funny, I've completely overlooked Facebook's SDK option, so thanks for the suggestion. For measuring FB installs + events, it certainly will do the job

.
FYI, Facebook mobile measurement partners seem to provide additional core metrics like LTV, ROI, ARPU. And they also aggregate measurement across several channels (which will be required shortly), so I prefer to work with one of the listed partners.

You can use Appsflyer but its as high as 5c/install - just to see some additional data. Facebook's SDK is free

In my travels, I saw HasOffers solution: http://mobileapptracking.com/
Anybody tried them?
