Hey guys
So a while back I came across this video by iPyxel guy where he very closely replicates an offer page, logo 'n'all
http://ipyxel.com/mimic-any-offer-pa...nutes-or-less/
It's a fairly obvious idea but I just wondered whether there were any copyright infringement issues here and what the implications might be?
Anyone had any experience of getting caught replicating offer pages? What happens?
Basically, is this something to steer clear of?
I would be more concerned about my landing pages being super heavy if I would follow the advice in this video
As in image heavy? Affecting load times etc?
There's a saying, don't reinvent the wheel just improve it.
I personally always recommend doing some spying and testing those landers/banners against your own ideas/improvements/variations.
Little changes here and there can go a long way.
Human pyschology plays a great role that's why improving upon stuff that works is always a great way to go.
Soon I will be releasing a KICK ASS 101 guide on what kind of stuff you can split test when it comes to banners.
Yep, don't do this for mobile, but for Web it works fine.
The advertiser's unlikely to be worried about copyright provided the LP links to their offer and only their offer.
Sick. Cheers @caurmen.
See you tomorrow!
