I found that most of the offer links take quite some time to load, as they need to go through my own tracker, the CPA network tracker, the offer owner tracker and finally, the landing page. Will this affect the conversion rate? Imo most of the users might wait for only 2 secs before they rage slamming the window. The ad is not even able to engage them.
A fast server for tracking is indeed the most important thing which I can do on my side. But any other method to make it even faster? Say, load within 2 secs, if the user end has an okay connection? Will it help by reducing the click tokens of the traffic source?
There's nothing you can do to improve the speed of offer loading, other than split-test the offer across multiple networks.
I'd definitely recommend doing that - networks' tech backends vary widely and it's one of the reason that offers can convert very differently on different networks.
Not much you can do in terms of the CPA network and offer systems.
Test and if they are causing problems just don't work with that network/advertiser anymore.
Also, don't judge speeds of the tracker-network-offer redirects if you're testing through a VPN.
Oh yeah. I forgot about the VPN!
