Hello guys.
I'd like to know if it's possible to use
That would make split testing far easy, and perhaps I could increase the ROI by creating different paths. I mainly want it for app installs or gaming, since FB mobile system still doesn't allow you to select carriers or devices as a mobile traffic source.
If this works, are there any tokens or how would you add FB as a traffic source on
Of course you can use
Not having a tracking system in the mix would be worse.
Note I go over
Also, FB does not have any dynamic tokens and no postback tracking - you will need to use FB conversion tracking if you want profitability data at Facebook's end and use the optional URL tags to pass data to Voluum (everything after the ? in your Voluum link should go in the optional URL tags box, the rest of the link with the ? removed can be your ad URL -- this applies to NF page link posts btw).
P.S. Facebook has just released the ability to target mobile devices more specifically -- they currently let you target WiFi or all and OS versions + iPhone/iPad/iPod traffic separately. Specific carriers aren't yet available but indeed you could use a tracking system to optimise back end flow for these.
Thanks Zeno.
I just thought it would be weird for Facebook to see those tracking URLs and maybe they wouldn't approve the campaign.
I'll have a look at your guide.
Regards.
Nope, Facebook doesn't care about domains unless they are blacklisted internally or possibly if they contain keywords like fuck, sex, xxx, etc.
You just need to make sure you get geo-redirection right to avoid needlessly tarnishing your campaign links.
Master using
Great to know!
That will do it.
If we are actually able to disable geo redirect for the offers, would that be OK too?
Also, I'm taking in count that many offers are going trough a landing page, not direct linking. But I read in your tutorial you can do direct linking with the passthrough.
