Hi folks
apologies if this has been asked a thousand times before (did search, didn't find)
what do you consider a minimum acceptable CTR for a mobile lander?
i shoot for 30-40% on desktop, but my first mobile lander is 4% CTR, just want to manage my own expectations given the different platforms.
thanks!
leights
I've had CTR's as high as 75% that didn't make me any money. I've had CTR as low as 5% that did make me money.
Just sayin.
yeah i get exactly what you're coming from, the CTR figure in isolation means nothing at all, just looking to get a feel of what would make you say "thats good" or "thats crap"
I have no idea what anyone else's are, but if it helps, my mobile landers average around around 20% CTR.
yes it does help - it means that mine suck
It really doesn't mean much, I might be paying 10X more per click than you.
The way I see it....
Pick a sensible average offer conversion rate. It might be 10%, it might be 2%.
Now multiply that by the payout to give an earnings per click to the offer.
Now take average traffic source CPC divided by this EPC and bam you have the lander CTR you need to break even.
As most will say, it really depends on the traffic source, lander, vertical, countries, etc.
I've had gaming landers doing close to 80% CTR yet others can profit on 0.8% CTR if their traffic costs next to nothing.
awesome Zeno!!!! work it backwards... now how come i never thought of that????
My mobile LP CTR always depends on traffic source
for example: exoclick banner camp. has ~15-20%
popunders: ~0.5-1.5%
