0% CTR Lander .. WTF?
Hey guys,
yesterday I made a lander for a sweepstake offer (500€ grocery voucher, some people know it for sure) which is performing well on different networks currently.
After sending $70 of decisive.is traffic I looked at my stats and got confused by the 0% ctr. Is my lander really so bad that nobody clicks through the questions and hits the CTA?
Here is my lander:
http://gutscheinjagd.net/wm
The only thing I can imagine is a coding error but I tested it on browserstack. Everything seems to be fine.

$70 traffic, but how many visitors toward the landing page?

611 visitors..
What is the average lander ctr on decisive people get?

Euh, why are you using a football and that Brasil logo?
When I see something like that I would click away also...
You should always use something that is hot for that country at THAT exact time.
For the US: How many eggs have Justin Bieber been throwing at the house of his neighbor?
A: Enough to get in jail
B: A couple, he still got a few left
C: He didn't, it was a lie
Anyway, you get the point.
But 0% CTR seems wrong in any way.
Is your tracking setup properly?

My angle was:
"Congratulations for winning the world cup! German users can answer this questions and get a 500€ grocery voucher"
That's why I used the football and the Brasil logo.

you should be split testing a 2nd lander anyway
a good split test that i like to run with a long clich-through style like this, is a very short, very easy to click-through lander. (a few lines of text and a call to action) this usually gets super high CTR but converts for shit. but its good to see how they compare.
anyway, 0% ctr almost always means a coding error on my part, but with 611 clicks and a long lander like that it could be possible. GL

Hm - try setting your Javascript up to be tracked by Google Analytics. That way you can see how each question performs, and if anyone's even clicking on the first one.
If you're getting clicks but no click throughs at the end, that's probably just a copy issue. If you're not getting even a single question click, that's more likely a code or tracking error.

This is probably not the root cause of your problems, but you really need to get your German proofread.

What do you guys think about my angle? Is it a good one or is it to complex and I should switch to a simpler one like "Who says the truth? Chris Brown or Rihanna". Of course with trending persons in Germany but you know what I mean.

I'm a German native speaker, so that's not the problem. If someone needs good German translations just msg me in skype

Come on:
Vielen, vielen dank!"
At least capitalise your nouns and use proper grammar, mate.

I wanted to make it look legit. Do you really think the people the offer is targetted to write reviews like this:
All the RTL viewers out there wouldn't even understand it when I used proper grammar

Ok, that was offtopic. But I'd really like to hear some feedback about my campaign angle from the stm users

Caurmen, is this easy to setup?
A lot of us are working with the quiz landers.
I'm a big fan of changing these questions but with your method I can actually see if they perform.
But perhaps this can be done a bit simpler like writing the results to a txt file on the server or something?

Very easy setup... But again this is OT

Yep, it's easy to set up - durakadin's approach is correct. Here's a tutorial I wrote on it a while back: http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...lling-Your-CTR

I've run sweeps on decisive profitably by direct linking. If you aren't familiar with decisive I would recommend you direct linking for starters. Learn the platform then add landers, so you don't have so many factors to deal with.
I didn't use any special angle, literally "Get A €500 Voucher."
